Simulation and modeling investigations on TiO2 nanoparticles surface modification
This Thesis is a cooperation between the Institute of physical and theoretical chemistry and the Institute of particle technology. During this thesis the student would be able to determine and verify the way that the surface of TiO2 nanoparticle is chemically modified. It is a brave step in order to make a breakthrough on understanding nanoparticle functionalization. The main focus of this thesis will be the evaluation of experimental and theoretical data towards a model establishment. The experimental part is taking place at iPAT (nanoparticles synthesis and functionalization). The simulation part will take place at the group of Prof. Dr. Jacob (IPTC).
This Master thesis is appropriate for Bioengineering as well as Chemistry students.
